Registry - This position is not guaranteed any set amount of hours, but is used on an 'as needed' basis. Candidate could be scheduled some hours during the week in addition to call-ins, vacations, etc.
Description: The Physical Therapy evaluates each patient and provides medically prescribed treatments and education to patients to restore, improve, or maintain the patient's optimal level of functioning, independence, and quality of life. The Physical Therapist also supervises Physical Therapist Assistants in carrying out the prescribed treatment plan. This is a Registry position. Candidate must be available to work on an as needed basis.
Requirements: Must be fully licensed in Indiana to practice as a Physical Therapist. May work with a Temporary Permit under the stipulated supervision of a PT in accordance with Indiana regulations. Must maintain active CPR certification.
Additionally, if assigned to provide services in Ohio, the PT is required to hold a current license in that state.Education:BS, MS or DPT Degree or Certification in Physical Therapy, a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an ACTA (accredited educational program).
Experience:None required. Preference may be given to individuals with advanced clinical skill experience or expertise.
