Registry - This position is not guaranteed any set amount of hours, but is used on an 'as needed' basis. Candidate could be scheduled some hours during the week in addition to call-ins, vacations, etc.
Description: Performs the following but not limited to: Assessing health conditions. Deriving nursing diagnosis (patient problems & needs). Planning / Executing nursing regimen and nursing actions. Advocating the provision of healthcare. Teaching, administering, supervision, delegating and evaluating nurse practice. Delegating tasks that assist with implementing the nursing, medical and dental regimes including other licensed health care providers with active clinical privileges at Reid. This is a Registry position. Candidate must be available to work all three shifts as needed. This position will work both Adult and Gero Psychiatry.
Requirements: "Registered Nurse" is a person who holds a valid Indiana license, and who bears primary responsibility and accountability for nursing practices based on specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, and behavioral sciences. Must maintain competence in BLS after initial training. A calm, pleasant, professional demeanor is expected. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with all staff, physicians and departments. Must be committed to Patient Satisfaction and Patient Safety.
Pay Range: $20.66-$30.20
